Unfortunately, I'm not getting ST until Christmas either, mostly due to broke-ness. I had money saved up for it but wound up spending it on emergency gas >_>

Long time, no post!
Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone! You all enjoying your holidays?
I'm spending break at my grandparents' which is a nice change of scenery. School has been BRUTAL with assignments, which is why I dropped off the fence there for a while >.>

Well I mean more that I'm excited to see that she will be actively assisting Link throughout an adventure, rather than just being around at keys times to explain the plot and helping in the occasional final battle. It will really give Nintendo a chance to explore her personality which always seemed rather bland to me, mostly from her lack of screen time. Throughout TP we really got to know Midna, and I really hope they do something similar with Zelda, especially considering how much more important she is to the series.

Zelda with an active role? Hm, this should be interesting. If you peruse through the guestbook we had a discussion a while back and came up with a game where Zelda is the main character. Do you know exactly what kind of stuff she's going to be doing in ST?

Wow that's a great site. I'm usually a good essay writer but whenever I try to review something it normally winds up being way too favorable from personal bias or just a rant and gets sloppy pretty fast. I'll have to bookmark that.

Sorry it's been kind of long. And yes, mostly because of school. When they tell you that you're going to put in 3 hours of your own time in per every credit hour they are not lying >.>
But, my classes are all interesting and there are a lot of cool people on campus. It definately beats the horror saga that was high school.

Eh, I walked away for a few hours, reloaded the page, and it looks fine again. I use IE8 but I think it's just the crappy wireless connection from my laptop. However, with Gamespot I have no idea because I can't vote on our desktop either. I'm taking my laptop to school on Monday and am going to attempt to vote using the school's connection and see if that works.
Lol duck butt? XD Oddly enough I'd have Squall-like hair too if mine were shoter. Mine's pretty long, but it permanently has that "wind got the best of it" look and my bangs and shorter layers stick out weird like that unless I straighten it.

I guess I like Squall because I can connect to him the most. I have a group of people who are honestly true friends to me, yet I still have this innate need to push people away and emotionally isolate myself >.> I'm not nearly as bad as Squall but I still have similar personality issues XD
Anywho, is the group page messed up for anyone else? Half of the top image doesn’t show up and the tables are taking up the entire width of the screen…

I liked VIII and IX much better. I mean VII was great, but I like those better. X was good, I still haven't played X-2, XI, or Crystal Chronicles (but that might change because I found it for like, $3 on Amazon. I know what I'm doing next time I get really bored XD) XII was meh, and Tactics was really fun even though it didn't fit the traditional FF mold. -
Hehe, Samus is my favorite character there next to Link. I was rather disappointed about Yoshi though...and Pikachu sort of. I'm not really a fan of Pikachu as a character but I doubt I'll forget the countless hours I put into catching every single one of the Pokemon and the first and second gen games. (Third gen sucked and I never played fourth.) DK got to a good place, but he doesn't beat Link, and personally I think Banjo and Kazooie deserved what they got for leaving Nintendo for Xbox. I could care less about Cloud. Squall was way cooler.

I actually thought she looked kind of ike the fairies from TWW when I first saw her, but then when I looked into it more and found the pictures showing how different parts of her were analogous with the Mastwer Sword I changed my mind. Guess I was wrong. Whatever, as long as she doesn't say "HEY, LISTEN" about every five seconds I'm good. XD

When I first saw it, I was like "ZOMG this is hilarious," because I thought it was going to show clips from the game and use the band sequnce randomly but when it kept repeting it got lame. Which is sad because I love that song...if Spirit Tracks isn't a flop like PH different clips from that game plus Crazy Train would make for a killer amv.

I'm not such a Muse fan but I see your point...and the cover art reminds me of the room in TWW where the Master Sword is. XD All the colored hexagons look like the stained glass windows.
On the topic of TWW and soundtraclks, TWW has my favorite music of all Zeldas. The "Death of Hyrule" storyline ruined so much of the game for me, but I loved loved loved the Celtic and sailing style music. Fado's theme = best character theme ever.

Hehe, I've seen that story before. It's awesome. But don't you think it's a little dangerous to mention defending oneself with a household katana and the Master Sword at the same time? Cosplayers who read this page might get bad ideas X-P
I love the idea of Link actually getting to leave Hyrule. Not as in being randomly dropped in another land like in MM, the Oracle games, and PH, but actually having many different surrounding countries in one game and you controlling where Link goes. I really love the setup of Final Fantasy overworlds and towns, but in Zelda, there will be no overdone cutscenes to ruin the greatness. But what about our idea of making Zelda the main character and Tingle the bad guy? Honestly, I think Nintendo should go somewhere with that; at least be able to actively play as Zelda.

That's what I've been trying but the little arrow thingy that would take you to the next contestants hasn't shown up for me since the first round. I wasn't able to vote in anything except Mario vs the Prince last round, and now Mario vs Lara, until now when I just clicked back, it took me to Cloud vs Kratos, and by pressing refresh it allowed me to vote in every contest excpet Link's...FTW. I don't know what I did to deserve such bad internet karma.
